In 2020 the Kalingafornia Young Weavers in California began sewing masks in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. A portion of the proceeds of each mask and other Kalinga textiles sold helps fund the Mabilong Young Weaver’s Scholarship program in Kalinga during the 2020-2022 school years.
